VibroSTAR intensive cultivation, which allows reducing the number of necessary passes and preserving the moisture contained in the soil, or thanks to modular construction, it is possible to adapt the machine to different tasks or cultivation conditions

The purpose of pre-sowing work

When preparing the soil for sowing, we establish specific objectives. The objective is to achieve a lumpy soil consistency through appropriate crushing and compacting. The aim of cultivation before sowing is also to provide adequate moisture for the germinating grain, reduce the number of weeds, and integrate mineral fertilizers with the soil.

Choose a cultivation aggregate according to its purpose
When selecting agricultural equipment, the size of the farm and the tractor's pulling capacity are key factors. For larger cultivated areas, a larger unit is preferable for efficient and quick work. Machines of this size also help regulate the water and air balance in the soil, making them valuable where applicable. It is crucial to consider the necessary power of the tractor to work with the unit. Additionally, the nature of the soil and the type of plant intended for sowing should be considered when choosing the appropriate equipment.

Pre-sowing cultivator VibroStar
Soil cultivation machines, such as aggregates, are designed for deep loosening and crumbling of the soil, facilitating optimal conditions for plant development. VibroSTAR exemplifies a durable and versatile cultivator, introducing an innovative approach to pre-sowing cultivation. It offers exceptional flexibility in addressing challenges related to various sowing methods and cultivation conditions. The VibroSTAR aggregate serves as a multipurpose cultivation tool, making it highly adaptable and effective for agricultural tasks. Primarily used for soil preparation before sowing, it loosens the top layer, breaks hardened areas, and compacts the soil to enhance water absorption, which is vital for plant growth. Its long frame and optimal tine arrangement ensure high efficiency, even on hard clay soil post-harvest. The machine's flow mechanism ensures excellent mixing and uniform results. Equipped with adjustable mechanisms, it adapts to different soil conditions, weather, and cultivation needs, reducing the number of field passes and offering economic advantages. Additional components, such as a Crossboard front and rear, a spring-loaded drag, or a rear roller, can be purchased to enhance functionality. Moreover, the five rows of spring-loaded tines can be fitted with additional elements and special 120 mm wide goosefeet.

Modular design enabling the connection of multiple tillage tools
The pre-sowing unit, a combination of multiple cultivation tools in a single device, aims to optimize soil preparation for sowing. Utilizing the VibroSTAR cultivation unit significantly reduces the number of necessary passes to one, resulting in time and fuel savings. The device, equipped with an additional hitch, allows the attachment of a Cambridge roller for enhanced cultivation cost optimization. The effective integration of various tools in one unit ensures more uniform and precise soil cultivation, reducing the need for additional improvement passes. By combining multiple cultivation tools, the pre-sowing unit performs several procedures in a single pass. For example, it can incorporate the functions of a cultivator, harrow, crumbling roller, and compactor, enabling crumbling, leveling, soil mixing with fertilizer, and compacting in one pass. Reducing the number of passes with heavy machinery benefits soil structure by minimizing the risk of compaction, which is essential for maintaining healthy soil and proper plant development. Modern VibroSTAR units are modular, allowing adaptation to specific soil conditions, financial capabilities, and farmer needs. The ability to quickly change configurations post-purchase permits expansion with additional tools as needed. Proper use of a pre-sowing unit offers numerous benefits to farmers, including cost savings and improved soil cultivation quality.

Optional cultivation tools
The hydraulic front Crossboard drag comprises robust 10x80 mm tines and 150 mm levelling skids. This tool can also be mounted behind the working tines, allowing synchronous control for the operator's convenience, with the option to set a different angle of attack for the rear drag. The 2-row rear spring comb beam permits the passage of more plant residue, enhancing the levelling effect and overall soil finish. It is adjustable without special tools. The string roller ensures effective crumbling. The string roller, with its small diameter and aggressive design, delivers excellent cutting and crumbling effects. Constructed from high-strength steel and combined with industry-leading bearings, it guarantees reliable operation. The roller is equipped with overload shock absorbers.

Mechanical weed control
The VibroSTAR, equipped with a goosefoot, produces a highly smooth seedbed. This goosefoot also serves as an efficient tool for weed control. Additionally, the VibroSTAR with goosefoot is an excellent cultivator for organic farming. Weed control can be performed using the 120 mm diameter goosefoot tine, enabling a shallow and precise cut. The combination of the goosefoot tines and the unique two-row rear harrow facilitates the cutting, surfacing, and drying of weeds.

The benefits of pre-sowing cultivation with VibroSTAR
Intensive cultivation, which reduces the number of necessary passes, is highly advantageous for several reasons:
Fuel Savings - reduced passes lead to lower fuel consumption, thereby decreasing costs.
Time Savings - reduced passes provide more time for other agricultural tasks.
Soil moisture retention - limiting passes with agricultural machinery aids in retaining soil moisture, which benefits plants, particularly during droughts.
Reducing soil compaction - fewer passes minimize the risk of soil compaction, improving soil structure and plant root development.

VibroSTAR features a modular design that offers additional advantages:
Versatility - the capability to adapt the machine to various tasks enhances its versatility and usability across different growing conditions.
Costs - despite a potentially higher initial investment, a modular machine can be more economical in the long term, as it can replace multiple cultivation tools.
